An exceptional collector’s trio of authentic mid-century Scandinavian design, perfect for high-end styling or tabletop entertaining. This cohesive 3-piece charcuterie or cheese serving collection was produced by the revered workshop of Skjøde Skjern in Denmark.
The set elegantly showcases the genius of Danish modern utility by combining everyday tabletop function with sculptural whimsy—making it a highly sought-after vignette piece for editorial kitchen spaces and designer bars.
The collection includes:
Stamped Teak Serving Board: Measures 13.5" W × 7.5" D × 0.75" H. Features a sleek, tapered rectangular silhouette with a dedicated, custom-carved recession that seamlessly cradles the matching knife handle-first into the corner. The reverse corner features the prominent, authentic heat-stamped Skjøde Skjern logo and Danmark origin mark.
Integrated Cheese Knife: Measures 10.5" L × 1.5" W × 1.0" H. Ergonomically sculpted solid teak handle displaying beautiful straight graining, fitted with a high-polish curved stainless steel blade stamped “Stainless Denmark” at the bolster.
Iconic Teak Mouse Figurine: Measures 2.5" L × 1.5" W × 2.0" H. Designed in 1958 by Theodor Skjøde Knudsen. This highly collectible Danish modern piece features a smoothly turned teardrop solid teak body, twin intact leather-look ears, minimalist black eyes, and the stamped “Skjøde Denmark” maker's brand on its flat base. It sits independently on the board as a playful period companion.
An ideal styling piece for AD100-inspired minimalist kitchens, open shelving vignettes, or mid-century bar carts. The sculptural silhouette of the Skjøde mouse provides the exact touch of playful "warm modernism" that breaks up the rigid lines of contemporary marble countertops or teak credenzas.

The solid teak wood across all three pieces exhibits a beautifully preserved, deep honey-toned grain that has been freshly conditioned with food-safe mineral oil. The knife blade retains its bright finish with only faint, superficial surface wipe scratches. A remarkably clean, pristine example of authentic Scandinavian craftsmanship. less
