Each chair is marked with the ACME Chair Company stamp beneath the seat.

The six functional chairs feature warm walnut frames, gracefully arched backrests with half-moon handhold cutouts, original metal folding hardware, and compact, lightweight proportions. Their folding mechanisms are working, and the chairs fold flat for convenient storage. At 16 inches wide by 16 inches deep and 30 inches high, with a 17-inch seat height, they are a practical scale for dining, café, restaurant, studio, event, retail, or occasional seating.

The original burgundy-red vinyl seats show honest vintage wear, including scratching, scuffs, fading, surface wear, and areas of loss. Four of the six functional chairs retain worn but serviceable original vinyl and may be used as they are, depending on the buyer’s preference. Two chairs require complete reupholstery of their seat panels. The existing vinyl can be retained as an original pattern or template for restoration.
