This antique British nesting table set is crafted in oak and designed so all three graduated tables tuck neatly beneath one another when not in use.

The clean rectangular tops, warm aged oak and traditional construction give the set that wonderful balance of practicality and old-world character that English furniture does particularly well.

Each table can be pulled out and used independently as a drink table, side table, plant stand or occasional table, then nested back together when you want the room to feel quieter.

CONDITION

Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear.

The oak shows surface marks, rubbing, small scratches, finish variation and patina consistent with age and use.

Minor irregularities and signs of wear are present throughout and are considered part of the character of the set.

The tables remain functional and present beautifully together.

I love furniture that earns its space.

You get three useful surfaces, but when you are done with them, they disappear back into one compact little footprint.

Very civilized.

These are especially good beside a sofa because you can pull one out for drinks, one for a book, one for the person who inevitably arrives and has nowhere to put anything.

Old English practicality, but make it pretty.
