This Edwardian centerpiece dates to about 1900 and has been reimagined as a delicate necklace. A round, faceted amethyst in a bezel setting anchors an elongated openwork frame of warm yellow gold. Fine spokes radiate from the stone, and graduated seed pearls soften the tapered ends.
The centerpiece hangs horizontally from a fine 14K gold chain, so it sits gracefully at the collarbone. Its airy proportions and purple-and-gold palette make it a refined layering piece or a quiet statement on its own. The centerpiece is unmarked but has been tested and is guaranteed to be 14 karat gold.
