This 18 karat yellow gold brooch from circa the 1950s is designed as a spray of richly textured leaves. Three flowers sit among the foliage, each with warm red ruby petals around a dark blue sapphire center. A white gold ribbon gathers the stems and contrasts with the yellow gold, finishing the bouquet.
The sculptural leaves and finely detailed surfaces catch the light and give the piece movement and dimension. It's unmarked and tests as 18 karat gold. It weighs 8.56 grams.
