A circular figural medallion anchors the front, framed by leafy borders, scrolling foliage, and slender pilasters inlaid with urns and floral motifs. Above, paired winged creatures flank a classical profile portrait.

The decoration continues across the top, where a circular composition of a flaming torch, wreath, and crossed arrows is surrounded by patterned veneers and delicate foliate borders. Tapered square legs complement the cabinet’s clean architectural lines, allowing the elaborate inlay to take center stage.

An old printed clipping affixed to the piece illustrates related furniture identified as signed works by Maggiolini. It provides an interesting historical reference, although it does not establish this cabinet’s maker or provenance.

A distinctive accent for an entry, living room, or study. The surface retains visible age and wear, including veneer cracks and losses; please review the detailed photographs. See less
