The important parts are in excellent condition. Meaning the original Chinoiserie gilded painting details.
The lacquer is in great condition, as are the gilded Chinoiserie details.
one of the chairs could also use strengthening on the curve at the back, where the chair is put together. See photos
The seats need new caning. However, they worked just fine for my use with custom made plywood seats that go over the caning ( painted black). With the original 2 silk pagoda cushions ( 1 gold tassel missing). Recently dry cleaned.
