Two sweeping panels of flame-patinated copper with rich mottled "tortoiseshell" coloring are set against a sculptural S-curve steel ribbon, torch-cut arrow and kite forms, and a forged ring, all mounted on a rectangular steel plate base. The hand-torched patina shifts from molten orange to deep bronze and black depending on the light. A true statement piece for a foyer, entry console, or floor display.

Note on finish: the oxidation and rust speckling on the raw steel elements is original to the piece and intentional. It is part of the artist's mixed-patina motif contrasting burnished steel, blackened forms, and torched copper. It has not developed from age or damage.

Unsigned, in the manner of Harry Balmer and other studio metal artists of the era. Structurally solid and stable. Excellent vintage condition with original intentional patina throughout.
