This traditional form is often used for serving tea or as a decorative display piece. Crafted from copper with intricate wire inlay, each bowl is beautifully decorated with vibrant, hand-painted floral and bird motifs, including lush pink peonies, green foliage, and a small red-breasted bird, all set against a dense, scrolling cloud-pattern ground. The interiors of the bowls and the undersides of the saucers are glazed in a bright, glossy turquoise blue. The rims, bases, and lid finials are finished with polished gold-toned metal.

This set includes four bowls, each in a distinct background color: a rich cobalt blue, a bright orange-yellow, a pale sky blue, and a white ground with blue floral decoration. Each set comes individually packaged in a paper box. This is a highly decorative and collectible set, ideal for display or tea service.
