A deliberately whimsical, anachronistic take on the Art Deco idiom; the washes granulate in the paper tooth, with the pen lines and underdrawing showing through.

Unsigned within the current mat; artist not identified. Undated; the blimp livery and deco-revival style suggest a later 20th-century work rather than period Art Deco.

Under glass in a carved gesso and copper-bronze frame. Framed approx. 35" x 27.5"; sight approx. 25" x 20". See less
