Mid-century handcrafted tramp art table lamp constructed from stained wood craft sticks arranged in repeating layered geometric patterns. Both the sculptural base and matching shade are built from individually stacked wood elements, creating stepped architectural forms and an open slatted construction. When illuminated, the spaces between the wood strips allow light to filter through the shade and emphasize its geometric pattern. The lamp retains its metal socket assembly and electrical cord and reflects the handcrafted folk art and hobbyist traditions associated with mid-century decorative furnishings.
