Vintage chalkware reproduction of Auguste Rodin's The Eternal Idol, manufactured by Marwal Industries Inc. The sculptural composition depicts two nude figures arranged in an intimate pose atop a heavily textured base, closely interpreting Rodin's late 19th-century original. Molded chalkware construction is finished in a bronze-tone painted surface with darker green accents that simulate the patina of aged bronze. The underside is felted for tabletop display, and the piece retains its molded Marwal Industries Inc. maker's mark.

Several more noticeable chips are present along the lower portion and textured base as photographed. Bronze-tone painted finish exhibits localized rubbing and losses exposing the lighter chalkware beneath. Felted underside remains present. Overall structurally sound and displays well. Please refer to photos regarding condition. less
