These are premium grade and have adjustable backrests (4 positions) for reclining or sitting. The footrests are detachable. The hardware is solid brass. They are made of high quality teak, Grade A, which resists water, pests, and salt air. Over time, the teak naturally weathers to a soft gray silver (as shown) but retains its structural integrity. Kingsley Bate is one of the most trusted manufacturers for highest quality teak outdoor furniture. They last a lifetime. If we could fit them at our next location, we would never sell them. See less

These are the sturdiest steamer chairs you can buy. If you wanted to change them back to a warmer hue, they can be sanded, but they really are supposed to be the silver grey color that they are now. The footrests are easily removable (no tools) and the footrests and chairs fold for storage as well. These are the real deal. less
