Pair of handcrafted storefront signs made for New Wineskins Leather Gallery, formerly located at 63 W. Division St. in Chicago. Constructed from heavily weathered reclaimed wood planks, the signs feature individually cut leather letters secured to the surface and finished in weathered cream pigment with dark outlining. The primary sign identifies the New Wineskins Leather Gallery and its Division Street address, while the narrower companion sign displays the Chicago telephone number. The combination of reclaimed timber, hand-cut leather lettering, and intentionally rustic construction reflects the handmade character of the leather gallery and the craft-oriented storefronts associated with Chicago's Old Town and Division Street area.
