Vintage Gainey Ceramics Azalea planter, model AZ-10, handcrafted in California. The substantial cylindrical form features a wide rolled rim, horizontal banding, and a warm textured matte finish believed to be Gainey’s Sea Bluff (A901).
A strong example of Gainey’s California architectural pottery, with the original “Gainey Ceramics – Handcrafted in California” foil label still intact inside.
Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Natural variations in color and texture are consistent with the character of the ceramic finish and manufacturing process.
