A wonderfully unusual vintage solid wood wine bottle holder crafted in the form of a high-heeled shoe. The substantial carved wood body features detailed tropical imagery, including palm trees, water, landscape and architectural motifs, giving the piece a distinctive island-inspired character.
The sculptural high heel incorporates a curved wooden support that cradles a standard wine bottle at an angle, while the interior of the shoe is finished in a nice red tone for a handsome contrast against the warm natural wood.
At approximately 11 inches long × 4 inches wide at its widest point, this compact piece makes a charming addition to a home bar, wine room, kitchen, dining room or entertaining area. It would also make a particularly fun gift for a wine lover, shoe collector, or someone who appreciates unusual vintage barware and hand-carved decorative objects.
