• An authentic, early 20th-century cast iron horse-drawn steam fire engine pumper wagon, measuring 18 inches long. Features a desirable three-horse team with an active, functional cam-axle that allows the horses to realistically "gallop" up and down when pushed. The under-carriage features an intact cast iron alarm bell.
• Condition Notes: As is typical of genuine antique cast iron from this era, the piece is unmarked. Shows a beautifully weathered rustic patina with traces of original red paint on the frame. Please note the front driver's seat assembly has a structural break and is partially missing, and the original cast driver/firemen figures are absent. Perfect as an industrial farmhouse display piece or primitive mantle accent.
