It is one of the most recognizable examples of post-war modern design and is included in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The chair gets its name from the fact that 40 chairs can be stacked to a height of 4 feet.

The chairs feature a slender chrome metal frame with an ergonomically shaped black seat and backrest (metal). The set shows signs of use, such as light patina and minor scratches.
The understated use of materials and timeless architectural aesthetic make this set a fantastic addition to a dining room, office, or contemporary interior!
