A major figure in Italian lighting, Sciolari is renowned for his geometric, sculptural, and futuristic creations, elegantly blending modernism, architecture, and Space Age influences. The four chrome-plated metal reflectors, arranged at different levels, take the form of a corolla or inverted trumpet, giving the lamp a particularly graphic silhouette. Each trumpet is an independent light source, equipped with a mirrored bulb that reflects off the concave cups to create a spectacular indirect light. The dark brown silicone trim provides a subtle contrast to the gleam of the chrome and further accentuates its original lines.
