The Lindwurm Dragon in Farran Stone.
Crafted in durable Farren Stone composition, this finely detailed high-relief plaque features a charmingly spirited Lindwurm Dragon. Designed with an authentic, weathered antiqued finish, it captures the raw elegance of a medieval architectural original while offering exceptional weather resistance built to endure for a century and beyond.
In historic German folklore, Lindwurm translates to "dragon," while in British heraldry, it traditionally refers to the fearsome wingless, two-legged beast—a favourite motif used on knights' helmets to display fierce aggression.
This particular piece showcases a lighter, delightfully feisty character carved with scales, clawed legs, and a barbed tail set against a dense background of stylized clouds and foliage.

A Cast Stone Composition Material: In architectural stonemasonry and garden ornaments, "Farran Stone" (sometimes spelled Farren) is a specialized cast stone composition material used to create weatherproof, antiqued decoration of medieval and traditional sculptures, plaques, and wall corbels.
