The primary artistic concept of this solitary piece stems from modernist efforts to capture the essence of the human body through reduced yet highly emotive morphology, reflecting the aesthetic direction of the era. The architectural design of the entire sculpture is built as a masterful polychromed wood carving depicting a female torso, while smooth transitions in wood toning and surface treatment give the object depth. This organic rhythm of curves and the warm texture of the material lend the sculpture timeless visual dynamics, elegance, and a characteristic touch.
