Industrial worktable constructed from a long two-board oak plank top mounted to a repurposed cast iron treadle-style base. The ornate base features scrolling openwork, central circular motifs, and original cross-brace supports, while the substantial oak top retains visible grain, saw marks, and a central board seam. Originally associated with a foot-powered sewing machine or light industrial apparatus, bases of this type were frequently repurposed as utility and work tables after their original mechanisms were retired.
