This furniture is partially composed … Read more Small secretary of Victorian vintage in blackened wood with thuya magnifying magnifiers and light wood.
This furniture is partially composed of an inclined flap with the center of a tawny color leather with golden thumbnail composed of stylized leaves. On either side, decorative elements in woods of Thuya and citrier decorate this console. Opening with a key by an original claw lock, this flap is retained by a brass compass and reveals a storage space and two small drawers. This interior is in sycamore.
This small furniture is summoned with a storage with original hook key, the curved lid decorated with a decorative element identical in thuya and lemon. Inside, we find paper lockers left and partly a straight plumier and an inkwell.
On the right side of this Davenport, four identical side drawers with pine apple-shaped buttons are equipped with original locks with operating condition. The interior of each drawer is massive mahogany. On the left side, we find four dumped drawers having an identical aspect.
In withdrawal, the facade of this furniture enjoys a central panel with a rectangular band of thuya embellished with amaranth and citrier. These plating decorations are also present on the pilasters and the base of this furniture resting on wheels.
This blackened wooden davenport will delight lovers of English furniture and small functional and refined secretaries.
