Early 20th-century painted metal advertising sign for El Roi-Tan Cigars by American Tobacco Co. of Durham, North Carolina. The richly colored composition depicts a fashionable woman admiring an open box of El Roi-Tan cigars against a deep red ground, with detailed product packaging and "El Roi-Tan Perfect Cigars" branding incorporated into the image. Retains its original hanging chain for wall display.
