Signed in red oil at the lower right; the signature is not clearly legible and does not resolve to a known or listed artist, so it is offered as an unattributed decorative oil. Undated; 20th century based on materials and frame style.

Individual brushstrokes and impasto ridges stand up from the canvas, and the signature sits on top of the dried paint: an original painting, not a print.

In an ornate composition-gilt frame, open face (no glazing). Framed approx. 15 x 13 in; sight size approx. 8 x 6 in.

Condition: sound overall, with no tears or visible craquelure. The frame shows rubbing and minor loss to the raised gesso ornament at the high points. See less
