Real brushwork and knife-worked impasto in the foreshore, confirmed under multiple lighting angles: an original painting, not a print. Unsigned, with no maker's marks on the verso; offered as an unattributed 20th-century work.

In an ornate gilt composition frame, open face (no glazing). Framed approx. 12.25 x 13.5 in; sight size approx. 6.5 x 8.4 in.

Condition: the paint film is sound, with no flaking or losses seen. The frame shows rubbing and small chips at the high points, with the green bole underlayer visible through the wear. See less
