There was a time when silence felt heavier than words, when the scars of the past threatened to isolate me. But healing, l've learned, is not a journey meant to be walked alone.
In Kinship, I painted four figures standing together, their arms and hands bound in quiet solidarity. Each one carries their own story, their own wounds, but together they form a circle of strength that cannot be broken. Their stillness is not emptiness it is presence.
Their closeness is not just blood it is chosen humanity.
Behind them, the fading light of day whispers that every ending carries the seed of a beginning. And above, the Disc glows my constant reminder that even when shadows stretch long, there is always light pulling us forward.
Kinship is my offering to those who battle within. It is a promise that when the night feels endless, we will find strength in one another's hands, and in that bond, we will endure.
