At an exceptional 96 inches long, this substantial oak table showcases the distinctive Western Modern aesthetic that made A. Brandt’s Ranch Oak furniture an American design classic. The rectangular top features a handsome panel construction framed in contrasting oak, with mitered corners, center cross and visible pegged detailing.
The architectural base is equally striking, with massive X-for, trestle supports connected by a long central stretcher. Carved and stepped details accent the legs, while two integrated drawers along the apron provide useful storage and an appealing architectural detail.
The combination of warm oak, handcrafted-looking joinery and strong geometric construction gives the table tremendous presence without feeling formal. At eight feet long and 40 inches deep, it comfortably anchors a large dining room and could also make a spectacular library, conference, studio or oversized work table.
