Commissioned by Royal Holland and meticulously executed by the historic K.M.D. Tiel workshops in the Netherlands, this piece is an exercise in pure, unadorned form and architectural minimalism.

The vessel is defined by its striking modernist bell silhouette, which swells gracefully from a perfectly flat, stable base before tapering inward to a tailored, sharp geometric pouring spout. A slim, elegantly tensioned loop handle breaks the symmetry, providing a stark structural contrast that is highly characteristic of mid-century Scandinavian and Dutch design movements. The pewter composition features a deeply sophisticated satin finish, offering a muted, historic luster that effortlessly avoids the harsh glare of contemporary metals.

For the discerning interior designer or collector, this diminutive hollowware piece transcends its utilitarian origins to serve as an objet d’art. Its compact, graphic profile makes it a stellar addition for styling high-end vignettes, whether layered onto a raw travertine console, positioned within a minimalist brutalist bookcase, or utilized as an unexpected bud vase to bring metallic contrast to a curated tabletop.
