Tuscany Italian Country Carved & Distressed Green Painted Wood 3-Step Library Ladder
An exceptionally charming 20th-century Tuscany Italian country-style three-step library ladder. This piece features a striking custom, hand-painted green finish with an intentionally distressed patina that beautifully highlights its classical architectural details. The structure is anchored by heavily turned baluster legs at the front and elegant tapered legs at the rear. The upright supports are detailed with finely carved fluted columns, flanked by ornate, scrolling side brackets that flank each tier. The flat surfaces show wonderful, curated wear—exposing hints of the warm, original wood tones. Stamped manufacturer markings are subtly embossed on the rear lower support beam.
Good vintage condition. Professionally refinished and structurally sound. Intentionally distressed finish with minor surface wear.
