The chairs represent a top example of traditional craftsmanship and follow on from English furniture design of the 18th century. The body is made of dark solid wood, richly carved with an emphasis on artistic detail. The backrests are decorated with a stylized plant decor with a motif of acanthus leaves and volutes, the lower part is decorated with selected walnut inlay. The front legs have typical zoomorphic ends in the form of lion's paws, which is a characteristic element of the Chippendale style. The seats are upholstered in high-quality mohair fabric with a brick red decor, which gives the chairs a representative appearance. The robust construction guarantees strength and stability, the chairs are suitable for daily use.
