The painting is done in a traditional style with an emphasis on detail, rich colors and delicate contours of the figures dressed in richly decorated saris. The backdrop of a courtyard with architectural elements and a garden adds depth and atmosphere to the work. The work is adjusted in a decorative gold frame with a hand-painted floral border, which enhances its oriental character. The technique of painting on silk gives the entire scene a lightness and delicate shine, typical of Indian art of this type.
