This small antique workbench in solid oak is appealing thanks to its robust construction and the numerous marks left by its use. Its compact and unusual dimensions make it easy to repurpose today as a console table, small side table, or washbasin unit.
Materials: The workbench is made of solid oak. The wood has a natural patina, irregularities, and signs of wear characteristic of an old workshop piece.
Features: This antique workbench rests on four solid legs assembled under a thick worktop. Its simple construction, visible joinery, and the marks in the wood attest to its original function and give this piece its unique character.
Restoration: The workbench has been sanded, treated against wood-boring insects, and then carefully cleaned. It has been intentionally left in its raw state to preserve the natural look and patina of the oak.
