A sculptural Danish Modern “Modus” ottoman attributed to Kristian Vedel for Søren Willadsen Møbelfabrik, Denmark, circa 1960s.
The ottoman features a hardwood frame supporting a generously proportioned black leather cushion with deep button tufting. Its exposed wood construction and low architectural profile coordinate with Vedel’s modular Modus seating system.
The original leather displays age-appropriate patina, creasing, surface wear, and natural color variation. The wooden frame shows minor vintage wear. Please review all photographs closely as part of the condition description.
This ottoman comes from a matching four-piece suite. The pair of coordinating Modus lounge chairs and matching glass-top table are listed separately and may also be available.
