the details\.
these rhodium plated metal earrings feature a flower motif. The centre of the flower is detailed with a large, round emerald green rhinestone whilst the petals of the flower are colourless, pear cut rhinestones. All of the stones are multi-faceted and claw set. The earrings are clip on and have a cut out heart motif in their back, which is typically found on german made mid-century earrings. The reverse of each earring features an oval cartouche stamped with 'christain dior made in germany 1963' and a copyright symbol. Each earring measures 2.5cm in diameter.

They were made when legendary designer marc bohan was creative director at the french fashion house. His creations combined the feminine florals of the 50s with the streamlined silhouettes of the 1960s.
