A 1960s rattan and bamboo table lamp by Louis Sognot, distinguished by its arched structure and suspended cage-shaped shade.
This lamp features:
• Its curved rattan arm, reminiscent of a crescent moon.
• Its circular base made of spirally wound rattan strands.
• Its central, openwork spherical cage-shaped shade, housing an original fabric diffuser cylinder that delicately filters the light.
In good condition, with very slight signs of age. I note a small imperfection on the rattan strand surrounding the cord at the suspension point (it is stretched).
The wiring has been replaced and brought up to code.
All details have been photographed.
