A rare pair of Art Deco candle holders by Stjärnmetall, Sweden.
This decorative pair of candle holders from Stjärnmetall combines Swedish metalworking tradition with a clearly Art Deco-influenced design.
The arched silhouette is framed by two candle holders, and the deep green color elegantly contrasts with the gold-colored details.
In the center sits a stylized mermaid, a motif that Stjärnmetall used in several of their more exclusive decorative pieces.
The mythological figure gives the candle holders a unique character and strong collector appeal, while also enhancing their romantic and classic look.
These candle holders are rare to find in pairs and make perfect statement pieces in both Art Deco-inspired and eclectic interiors.
Stjärnmetall was a Swedish maker of decorative metal items, active from the late 1930s to the 1960s.
Their design language is a mix of Art Deco, Swedish Grace, and romanticized classicism, which makes their pieces very attractive to collectors today. This piece has an attribution mark,
