Particularly representative of Pierre Chapo's work, the S24 model features a deliberately clear construction where the joinery plays an integral role in the design. The slightly inclined backrest supports, the rectangular legs, and the exposed metal hardware give the chairs a simple and instantly recognizable architecture.

The elm wood displays a beautiful grain and a warm hue acquired over time. The stretched black leather seats provide a striking contrast to the wood and retain a patina consistent with the chairs' age.

Good overall vintage condition. The frames show patina, minor marks, scuffs, and signs of wear commensurate with their age.

The leather also shows signs of use, including some scuffs and wear visible on the edges. These elements are shown in the photographs and contribute to the overall patina. See less
