This is a striking vintage porcelain teabowl, decorated in the famille rose palette with vibrant polychrome enamels. The bowl features a deep, rounded form with a slightly flared rim and a short foot. The exterior is richly painted against a turquoise "cracked-ice" ground with a dynamic scene of a majestic phoenix in flight, its body and flowing tail feathers rendered in vibrant shades of orange and red with fine scale and feather details. The phoenix is surrounded by scrolling, multi-colored vines, stylized blue and pink lotus blossoms, and green foliage. The rim is bordered by a decorative band of yellow and red lappets, while the foot is decorated with a classic key-fret (leiwen) border in iron-red. The interior is glazed in a smooth, glossy white. The base bears a six-character iron-red seal mark reading "大清雍正年製" (Made in the Great Qing Yongzheng Period), indicating it is a vintage revival piece in the Yongzheng style. A highly decorative and collectible piece.
