An elegant matched service of twelve early 20th-century hand-cut crystal champagne coupes, circa 1900–1920.
Each glass features a beautifully proportioned shallow coupe bowl decorated with sweeping wheel-cut motifs above a long, multi-faceted stem and circular foot. The restrained cutting gives the glasses wonderful sparkle while retaining the lightness and elegance of the underlying form.
Particularly appealing are the subtle variations visible from glass to glass. Heights, stem proportions and bowl profiles vary slightly while the cutting pattern remains consistent—characteristic of an individually worked service rather than mechanically identical modern stemware.
The complete set of twelve makes these especially desirable for entertaining and display.
Early 20th century, circa 1900–1920. Maker unknown.
Approximately 5"H × 4" diameter; individual dimensions vary slightly due to handmade construction.
Condition: Very good antique condition with light age-appropriate wear. No chips or cracks noted. Subtle variations in height, bowl profile and stem dimensions are inherent to the individually worked construction. Please see photographs for details.
