A striking set of six signed Murano drinking glasses by Alberto Striulli for Striulli A. Vetri d'Arte, Murano, Italy.
Each hand-blown crystal glass is decorated with a distinctive pattern of elongated oval inclusions and finely dispersed 24kt gold leaf, creating a luminous gold-flecked effect throughout the glass. As expected with individually handmade Murano glass, subtle variations in form and decoration make each piece unique.
Each glass is individually signed Striulli, firmly establishing the attribution to the Murano glassworks.
Alberto Striulli is a Murano glass master whose family glassworks, Striulli A. Vetri d'Arte, produces traditional hand-worked Murano glass and is an authorized user of the Vetro Artistico® Murano trademark.
A beautiful and highly usable set for cocktails, water or wine, and especially appealing displayed as a collection.
A coordinating Striulli pitcher with two additional matching glasses is available separately, allowing the two listings to form an eight-glass service with pitcher.
Made in Murano, Italy. Circa 2000s.
