From the China in 1st half of the 20th Century, it is cast ceramic in a thick turquoise crackle glaze. The camel has a pleased and knowing expression. The camel's hump is decorated with a raised floral design. The color is a vibrant and rich turquoise and it has a subtle crackle to the glaze throughout.

A wonderful example of Chinoiserie Design that goes well with a Hollywood Regency and Boho Chic look. Chinese turquoise glazed ceramics go back to the Qing and Ming dynasty. This piece is rare and unique. See less
