THE ARTIST:
Edna Hibel Plotkin (January 13, 1917 – December 5, 2014) was an American artist. She painted for most of her life. Her work was once held at the Hibel Museum of Art; some of it now resides at Beloit College in Wisconsin.

DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a lovely framed print by American artist Edna Hibel, titled "Alexis and Her Children." This is from the exclusive edition of 5000, reportedly created in 1994, and shows Hibel's signature soft, sketchy style — a tender portrait of a young mother holding two small children, done in a dreamy blue/lavender palette with warm sienna and gold linework.
