This is a striking vintage ceramic teabowl, crafted in the style of traditional "marbled clay" or jiaotai wares, which simulate the appearance of layered stone or agate. The bowl features a rounded form with a slightly incurved rim and a short foot. The surface is covered in a glossy, crackled glaze with a warm, earthy palette: a base of pale yellowish-tan is accented with undulating, horizontal bands of rust-orange and dark olive-green, creating a natural, geological "strata" effect. The lower body features additional, freeform black scrolling lines resembling stylized rocks or clouds. The interior and base continue this mottled, earthy glaze. The unglazed foot ring reveals a sandy, gray-toned clay body with natural firing marks. This is a tactile and unique piece, ideal for tea ceremonies or as a decorative object.
