Large Indian miniature painting depicting an elaborate Mughal royal court gathering within a garden pavilion. The central seated figure is surrounded by courtiers, attendants, musicians, and additional figures arranged throughout the architectural setting.
Finely rendered costumes, patterned textiles, garden details, and architectural ornament fill the composition in soft blue, green, rose, cream, and gold tones. An extensive hand-painted floral border surrounds the central scene, with flowering vines framed by narrow dark bands of gilt botanical decoration.
Presented under glass with a wide cream mat and traditional gold-tone frame.
