Mid-20th-century pull-down classroom map of Europe from A.J. Nystrom & Co.'s Royal Series, featuring a dramatic black ground with coastlines, national boundaries, latitude and longitude lines, and cartographic details rendered in contrasting yellow. Select areas, including the British Isles and France, retain blue, green, and red color accents intended to emphasize regions during classroom instruction. The lower right retains the original "Royal Series Europe" title and mileage scale. Mounted on its original pull-down system with canvas backing, metal upper rail, and turned wooden lower dowel marked "Europe," the piece is a substantial example of mid-century educational cartography and classroom design.
