The compact work has an unusually substantial presence, weighing approximately 5 pounds despite standing just 8.5 inches high.

The composition is highly sculptural, combining pierced geometric forms, radiating linear elements and irregular architectural masses. Areas of warm exposed bronze contrast beautifully with a naturally developed dark brown and verdigris patina, emphasizing the deeply textured cast surface.

The work reflects the experimental vocabulary of postwar Modernist and Brutalist studio sculpture, with elements of Constructivism and geometric abstraction. Particularly effective as a tabletop sculpture, desk object or small-scale work within a larger collection.

Incised artist signature to the bronze; signature has not been identified and no attribution is being made. Mounted on a veined black marble plinth. See less
