Signed limited-edition print by Cape Cod and Maine folk artist Cynthia Gallant-Simpson, titled Happy Birthday America and numbered 1/500.
The coastal Americana scene depicts a traditional New England seaside setting with sailboats, rowers, shingled outbuilding, red clapboard house, flowering gardens, and American flags lining the shore. Patriotic bunting and a lively assortment of figures give the composition the narrative character associated with Gallant-Simpson's New England folk-art imagery.
Pencil titled and numbered 1/500 at lower left and pencil signed Cynthia Gallant-Simpson at lower right.
Presented under glass with a wide white mat and dark wood-tone frame.
