Oil on wood panel Dutch school 19th century Atmospheric oil painting depicting the daily life of fishermen on the coast - a typical marina with anchored sailboats, fishing boats and figures in motion on the beach. The painting stands out for its impressive capture of the sky and sea in the warm tones of the setting sun. Typical of romantic landscape painting of the 19th century, most likely of Dutch origin. On the back there is the original label from the Antwerp Van Herck auction (catalog no. 97), which took place on 22. 2. 1983.
