We offer a high-quality Bakhtiar rug measuring 301 x 202 cm (length without fringe: 291 cm), hand-knotted around 1985 in the famous Bakhtiar region of Iran. This rug is a typical representative of the Persian craft tradition and represents a combination of artistic expression and functional elegance. It is made of first-class wool on a cotton warp, which ensures its long life, high durability and at the same time pleasant to the touch. The rug has a distinctive central medallion complemented by ornaments in the shape of palmettes and stylized flowers, set in rich colors - shades of red, blue, beige and green prevail. This is a hand-knotted piece with an approximate knot density of 160,000 knots per m², which makes it a quality rug suitable for both formal spaces and regular indoor use.
